Wood restoration can give furniture a new lease of life, leaving it shiny and revived. Other benefits include offering increased protection from further damage and being able to retain the original finish (wherever possible).
During the wood restoration process, the surfaces of the furniture are washed back and repaired of any damage and blemishes. This is followed by the application of a high standard shellac resin, before a repeated polishing of the wood. Finally, a hand-polished finish is applied, which has the ability to withstand heat and water marks, whilst retaining the natural beauty of the wood.
